The Computer Group is a mutual help group in which members share their knowledge and help each other out with any computer, tablet or phone problems.
It is not a group solely for computer specialists. Any member who has been beating their head against a problem can come here to seek help, and give help in those areas where they can.
We cover hardware - desktops, laptops, netbooks, tablets, phones and smartwatches.
We cover Operating Systems - Microsoft, Apple, Alphabet (Android & ChromeOS) and any number of flavours of Linux.
We cover applications - word processing, spreadsheets, email, web browsers and many more.
We have given advice on detecting and reporting scams, removing viruses, improving your online security and many more.
We have our own Q&A website based on the StackExchange network. A repository of questions and answers has been built up over the last three years and we want to grow it to cover anything that you want to ask. The more members we have, the more useful the site will become. The questions are along the lines of How do I...? to help understand and use any feature of your smart device.
