Buntingford u3a members competed in the Whittlesford Cup.
A 3-wood pairs competition open to all carpet bowls club in East Anglia.

24 of the top pairs in the region have qualified for the cup, which was played on the 17th March.

Our two pairs, Martin & Gill Gray, and Mick & Chris Lee both failed to proceed from the round-robin stage.
In each case, the failure was only on shot difference. Both pairs only just lost out on the quarter finals.

The cup was won by a pair from Ellesmere in Cambridgeshire.
