The "They Matter" group makes activity/ fiddle mats for dementia patients in Care Homes. We knit, sew and crochet small items to either put in pockets or just hang. Other items we use are zips, buttons, lace, ribbon, jewellery, keys, in fact anything we are given we most probably can make use of. At the moment the group is full, but please get in touch should you want to find out more. We enjoy making these mats as the Care Homes are very appreciative of our efforts and say they are so beneficial to the lives of their patients.
